This local taxi driver's style and quiet elegance. In a city with a never ending love affair with bold prints, I am always drawn to solid colours and subtlety. I enjoy sheer fabrics too; it sits precariously on the edge of sophistication and tackiness.

Someone's drying their clothes on the high street, next to the fumes from standby generator! You cannot imagine the noise coming from these beasts, as they howl in unison across the city.

I adore stripes. I never tire of them. This scowling boy and his attitude made me giggle. Nigerians are always suspicious of a camera but are later flattered when they understand your intention. Then they start posing for the pictures. Then they ask you to print it and give them a copy. And one for their mum too, of course!
