If you didn't know, as well as being Creative Director of Zashadu, I am also Assistant Director and Curator of African Artists' Foundation in Lagos. We put together an annual Photography festival, LagosPhoto (Lagosphoto.blogspot.com) that unites artists through their shared experiences of Africa and takes place every year in October. LagosPhoto is MASSIVE and requires that you give up your entire life for a few months!
On the leather front, I have rallied fellow leather designers to come together in an association called Leather Designers of Nigeria (more details coming soon). We will be taking part in the newly formed Lagos Fashion and Design Week (http://lagosfashionanddesignweek.com/), from the 26th-29th October, Eko Hotel and Suites, so pop by to see beautiful handcrafted leather goods and Zashadu's new collection inspired by one of my favourite musical artists, (more on that later).
For now, you can find me spa hopping across the city, trying to remind myself that I am a woman despite the fact that my toenails could be likened to the claws of a bird of prey!
